Job alerts

Job alerts shows who has asked your careers site to email them about new roles — a total only, never a list of people, and nothing here is configurable: the cadence and the matching are fixed, so an account can't make the mail it sends worse.

What you see

Four counts: Receiving alerts (confirmed their address), Awaiting confirmation (signed up, never clicked the confirmation link), Stopped (unsubscribed themselves) and Undeliverable (their address bounced permanently).

What people are waiting for groups confirmed subscribers by exactly what they asked for — a Category, a search typed by the candidate, one built into a page design, or, where a sign-up carries no filter, everyone. An entry with no roles matching it is usually one you haven't advertised yet.

A note at the foot of the page says when the last digest went out. Alerts are sent every Tuesday morning, skipping anyone with no new matches that week.

Acting on one candidate

There's no address to act on here by design — a page that could export one careers site's subscriber list is worth more to someone else than to the account. To act on one person's alerts, including an erasure request, use Data requests, which covers alerts along with everything else you hold on them.

If nobody's subscribed

Candidates sign up through a form on your careers site, usually on the job board or a category page. If the count stays at zero, ask whoever builds your site's templates whether a sign-up form is actually on the page candidates reach.
