What the Intelligence connector can do
The Intelligence connector reads the account you connected: your knowledge base, the questions your assistant couldn't answer, and the figures behind your assistant. It can't change anything. This page covers what to ask it, what it never returns, and every tool it offers.
What to ask it
- About your knowledge base. "What do we say about parental leave?" "Which entries are still drafts?" It searches your live entries, and can list and read any entry, whatever its status.
- About gaps. "What are candidates asking that we can't answer?" It lists the themes from Gaps, most asked first, so you can decide what to write.
- About your figures. "How many conversations did we have last month, by week?" "Which jobs had the most applications?" It can count, total and break down your assistant's data over time.
Figures cover the whole account. If you run more than one assistant, the connector can't narrow them to one.
What it never returns
- Names and email addresses of hired candidates and of hiring managers, and hiring managers' notes on a hire.
- What candidates typed. It reports how a conversation went, such as whether a question was answered and why not, but never the words. Gaps come back as summarised themes, not candidates' questions.
Visitor and session ids can appear in individual rows. They aren't tied to a name.
Limits
- Up to 60 calls a minute. Past that, the reply says how many seconds to wait.
- A tool that runs longer than 25 seconds stops and says so. Nothing is left half-done. Asking for a narrower time range usually helps.
- Raw rows come back at most 100 at a time, and grouped results at most 500.
- A knowledge entry longer than 40,000 characters is cut off at that point, and the reply says it was.
Every tool
None of these change anything.

Knowledge base
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
intelligence_search_kb |
Searches your live entries for a question, up to 25 results, and says how well your knowledge base covers it |
intelligence_list_kb_entries |
Lists entries, filtered by status (draft, live or archived), type, category, source or tag. Titles and details only, not the full text |
intelligence_get_kb_entry |
Reads one entry in full |
Gaps
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
intelligence_list_gaps |
Lists the themes your assistant couldn't answer, most asked or most recent first. Open by default; resolved and dismissed are available too |
Figures
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
intelligence_describe_schema |
Lists what can be counted and how it can be grouped and filtered |
intelligence_query_data |
Counts, totals or averages, grouped and filtered |
intelligence_query_timeseries |
One figure over time, by hour, day, week or month |
intelligence_list_records |
Individual rows, most recent first |
intelligence_query_funnel |
Visitors, sessions, applications and hires against the previous period. It needs a single assistant chosen, which the connector can't do, so through the connector it always declines |
The figures cover applications, assistant conversations, site activity such as page views and clicks, jobs, knowledge entries and gaps.
