Application Details Pane

The "Application Details" pane provides comprehensive information about a candidate’s application. This section allows hiring team members to view and edit details pertaining to an individual applicant.

Accessing Application Details

To access an applicant's details:

  1. Navigate to the 'Talent Pipeline' via the left-hand menu, either the table or kanban view.
  2. Click the cog icon on the application you wish to select.

Details Tab

Applicant Information

  • Name: The full name of the applicant. Click 'edit contact' to modify this information if needed.
  • Email: The applicant's primary email address.
  • Telephone: Contact number for the applicant.
  • Location: The geographical location of the applicant.
  • Role: The job title or role for which the applicant has applied.
  • Reference: Any internal or external reference codes associated with the applicant.
  • Apply Date: The date and time when the application was submitted.
  • CV: A link or attachment for the applicant's CV/resume.

Hiring Team Notes

  • Attribute Source/Agency: The source or agency through which the applicant was acquired. This field is often used for tracking the effectiveness of different recruitment channels.
  • Owner: The team member responsible for managing this application.
  • Remuneration Requested: Any salary or compensation expectations mentioned by the applicant.
  • Candidate Rejection/Withdrawal Reason: If the application is rejected or withdrawn, document the reason here for future reference.

Timeline Tab

The "Application Timeline" tab tracks and records the chronological events and interactions related to a candidate's application. This feature allows hiring teams to maintain a clear history of each applicant's journey through the recruitment process.


Adding Notes

  • To add a new note, click the 'Add new note' field.
  • Once written, click the 'Add Note' button to save the note to the application's timeline.

Filtering Events

  • Use the 'Filter events' dropdown to display only specific types of entries, such as notes or milestones.

Self Appraisal Tab

If the candidate has completed a self-appraisal, this tab will display their scores or assessments. Assessments typically include ratings or descriptions of the candidate's skills and competencies relevant to the role they have applied for.

Upload CV Tab

The "Upload CV" tab provides a straightforward way to attach a candidate's curriculum vitae (CV) or resume to their application. This function is essential for keeping all pertinent application documents in one place, easily accessible to the hiring team.


Uploading a CV

  • Drag and Drop: If you have the candidate's CV file ready, drag it into the designated area.
  • Choose File: Alternatively, click 'Choose File' to select the CV from your computer's files.
  • Upload CV: After selecting the file, click the 'Upload CV' button to attach it to the candidate’s application.

File Formats and Requirements

  • Ensure the CV is in an acceptable file format, typically PDF or DOCX.
  • Check any file size limits or restrictions and adjust the CV file accordingly.

Viewing and Managing Uploaded CVs

  • Once uploaded, the CV will appear as an attachment within the 'Application Details'.
  • You can view the CV by clicking on the attachment link.
  • If you need to replace the CV with an updated version, simply upload the new file, and it will overwrite the existing one.

Attachments Tab

The "Attachments" tab is designed to manage and store various files related to a candidate’s application, such as cover letters, portfolios, certificates, and other relevant documents.


Uploading Attachments

  • Drag and Drop: Drag files directly into the outlined area to upload them.
  • Choose Files: Click 'Choose Files' to browse and select files from your computer.

File Formats and Requirements

  • Ensure that the files are in an acceptable format (e.g., PDF, DOCX, JPEG) and do not exceed any size limits.
  • Check that the file names are clear and indicate the content of the document for easy identification.

Managing Uploaded Files

  • Once a file is uploaded, it will be listed in the 'Attached Files' section.
  • You can view or download the file by clicking on it.
  • To remove an attachment, there will typically be an option next to the file entry, such as a trash can icon or a 'Remove' link.

Additional Actions

  • Move to Rejected: Click this button if you wish to move the application to the 'Rejected' stage.
  • Move to Telephone Interview: Select this to advance the applicant to the 'Telephone Interview' stage.

Saving Changes

  • After reviewing or editing details, click the 'Save Changes' button to update the applicant’s information.
  • If no changes are made, or if you wish to exit without saving, click the 'Close' button.
